Corneal Diseases
The cornea is the transparent, curved front part of the eye which focuses light, protects the eye against external factors and plays a major role in vision. The cornea acts as a barrier against dirt, germs, and other particles that can harm the eye. Ophthalmologists use some devices to assess corneal morphology and function. Allergies, dry eye or even corneal dystrophy can be diagnosed timely by phthalmologist.
